Perfect ‘get away from it all’ location. Left on May 31, 2018 for a stay in Mar 2018 This really beautiful, excellently equipped traditional style Andulisian home near the centre of Frigiliana is the ideal place to go for a truly relaxing break. The roof garden is amazing, with stunning views where you can relax in seclusion. Only a short walk to a bustling village centre with a good selection of shops. There are a number of very good places to eat nearby where the cuisine is varied and of high standard. Thoroughly recommend this location to anyone. walterei2016 Erfurt, Germany Erholung pur Left on May 28, 2018 for a stay in May 2018 Nach einer Rundreise durch Andalusien haben wir wundervolle 8 Tage in Frigiliana verbracht und uns in der gemütlichen Ferienwohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Besonders gern haben wir uns auf der Terasse aufgehalten mit dem traumhaften Blick auf die Berge und die Gassen von Frigiliana. Es gibt viele kleine Läden um die Ecke, wo man sich versorgen kann. Die Ferienwohnung ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen und Ausflüge.Eine Wanderkarte gibt es bei der Touristinformation auf Englisch. Die schönste Wanderung war zum El Fuerte. Weiterhin empfehlen wir eine Tour zum abgelegene Dorf El Acebuchal. Da kann man sehr lecker und traditionell essen. Die Flusswanderung duch den Rio Chillar ist auch toll. copen2455 belfast Just perfect Left on Apr 2, 2018 for a stay in Mar 2018 We recently had the privilege of staying in this beautiful house. We were welcomed with a lovely warm fire in the log burner and extremely generous welcome pack which kept us going for days. The weather was unusually bad and the log burner made the house so warm and cosy and was a great bonus. This house is very popular and it is no surprise that it gets booked up quickly. Javier and Rosario are amazing hosts and even invited us into their home for coffee on the morning we were leaving where they let us to store our luggage. Just wish we could have stayed for the duration of our stay. We will definitely be back. Just loved the house and the views from the pool area are stunning. Mr Ian M Amazing – Javier and Rosario were exceptional hosts Left on Dec 29, 2017 for a stay in Dec 2017 We had an amazing week in December 2017 for Christmas. On arrival we were greeted by Javier and Rosario. They both catered for our every need, a food and household necessity pack was provided on arrival, even to the extent of some lovely firewood for the wood burning stove in case we felt the chill. Frigiliana is a beautiful place to stay, they are plenty of good restaurants and the views are out of this world. Javier and Rosario are wonderful people and nothing was too much trouble, they provided a fantastically furnished, clean and beautiful accommodation, the roof-top terrace is amazing, even in December, I would think in the summer months it would be an amazing place to relax and catch the sun, especially with the sparkling plunge pool that is provided. There is a local supermarket and bar/restaurant (Fernandos) within 2-3 minutes walking distance from the villa which were both excellent and very convenient. I took the opportunity to pay for the car parking which was on offer (through the owners, Javier and Rosario) and we are so glad we did, parking spaces are a real premium in Frigiliana. The car parking was very near to the accommodation, and very secure, by opting for this car parking arrangement, the journey from car to accommodation was conveniently short, which,those who have visited Frigiliana, will understand how steep the gradients can be. Overall, we have enjoyed a fantastic holiday from a beautifully cared-for accommodation with wonderful attentive hosts and will definitely be visiting again soon – thank you Javier and Rosario, Ian & Sue x OUR RESPONSE: Dear Ian & Sue: Thank you very much for your lovely review.
