penny468 Hartlepool, United Kingdom Great Villa in beautiful grounds Left on Aug 27, 2018 for a stay in Aug 2018 Good location but a car is needed. Javier was on hand to greet us when we arrived to make sure everything was OK. The welcome pack of food and drink in the fantastic equipped kitchen was a nice surprise and saved us the usual rush to the shops. The inside of the villa was immaculate and even stay reasonably cool without the A.C. The pool was bigger than average and had great sunbeds with cushions.The outside seating/ eating areas were great along with the bbq. Overall the attention to detail eg. pool towels , good quality crockery, kitchen cleaning essentials and the welcome pack made this villa better than most. ps When strolling around the gorgeous gardens remember to feed this fish Thanks again Javier and Rosario OUR RESPONSE: Dear family: Thank you for your review. roy h Somerset, United Kingdom You will not regret staying here Left on Aug 1, 2018 for a stay in Jul 2018 This villa is absolutely amazing and set in lovely surroundings with beautiful views. Javier and Rosario are the perfect hosts and will go out of their way to help you. Easy to drive to and a 30 ish minute walk to Frigiliana, a 10 minute walk to the local pub which I would thoroughly recommend for an evening drink. Make sure you take a torch!! The only problem with this villa is that with such good reviews I will struggle to book it for future return visits! “Ein wunderschönes Haus mit Liebe eingerichtet. Die privaten Vermieter sind sehr nett und zuvorkommend. Im großen Garten gibt es immer wieder etwas neues zu entdecken. Abseits vom Massentourismus kann man sich perfekt erholen und ist in 5 Minuten mit dem Auto im Trubel von Nerja oder Frigiliana. Ein toller Grillpatz, ein großer Pool. Viele kleine Sitzmöglichkeiten auf dem ganzen Grundstück mit Blick auf die Berge oder das Meer. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und gut erholt und können es weit empfehlen.”

Jean-Paul H Danville, Canada A Jewel in a Perfect Setting Left on Apr 2, 2018 for a stay in Mar 2018 When we started looking for a place to stay for a one-moth stay in Andalucia, friends of ours enthusiastically recommended Villa Hazilla de Raya, which they had rented three years in a row. We followed their advice, and we could not have made a better decision. Nested on the hills separating Nerja on the Mediterranean coast from the picture-perfect white village of Frigiliana, and with an unobstructed view on both, that beautiful, large, comfortable and well-appointed property offers peace and tranquility in gorgeous surroundings, with easy access to many of the historic inland cities of that culturally rich area of Spain. For the adventurous, natural parks are right next door, including the attractive Alpujarras (Sierra Nevada). And to top it all, one could not find more gracious and generous hosts than the owners, Xavier and Rosario, constantly at the ready to offer advice and assistance. vivienneo236 Best Christmas Ever Left on Mar 20, 2018 for a stay in Dec 2017 Not far from Nerja and Frigiliana, the house is in a wonderfully peaceful location with views over the gorge. The garden and swimming pool are very well-kept and the spacious house lovely. A new kitchen is a real bonus and the beds are so comfortable. I have stayed for many years, mainly Christmas but also summer, and cannot recommend it strongly enough for a great holiday. OUR RESPONSE: Dear Viv: Thank you very much for your review.
