Matt J Canterbury, United Kingdom Fantastic villa and holiday!! Left on Aug 27, 2014 for a stay in Jul 2014 We couldn’t fault this accommodation. The villa was extremely well equipped and has everything you might want or expect. The gardens are beautiful and the pool and balcony were excellent. The house was perfect for us as a family with 2 children. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one en-suite). You do need a car to get to and from the house. This was very kindly arranged for us by the owners and saved us a lot of hassle at Malaga airport. Dealing with the owners, Javier and Rosario, was a pleasure and gave us great confidence that everything would be OK for our holiday. Overall I cannot fault our time in Hazilla, It is the first time in our lives we may consider going back to the same place for another summer holiday!! Five star rating is justly deserved. Drti Couldn’t ask for more Left on Jun 2, 2014 for a stay in May 2014 We stayed at Hazilla Raya for one month and it was absolutely enchanting. The villa is gorgeous and in a perfect location. Beautiful views of Nerja by the sea and Frigiliana in the hills. A quick five minute drive from both. A beautiful property, very quiet and although we had neighbours (whom we really couldn’t see) it felt entirely private. The owners, Javier and Rosario, are lovely people and very responsive to any small needs. I would recommend this property without hesitation and hope that we get a chance to return. Left on Jan 31, 2014 for a stay in Oct 2013 This is our second time in Hazilla, we have also stayed many times in Los Arcos and Dachita, and none of the properties ever disappoints. The number of the reviewers here that are returning customers year after year tells you all you really want to know about the quality of Javier and Rosario’s properties. As someone points out, we are all treated as friends rather than customers, the welcome is always genuine and nothing is too much trouble for them to ensure you have a trouble free, enjoyable holiday. Left on Dec 9, 2013 for a stay in Sep 2013 The owner of this property has a number of similar villas in the area and over the years my wife and I have stayed at almost each of them. Hazilla was new for us, primarily as we now have a two year old, and it offered a number of practicalities that would suit us better. However, nothing changes. The villa was perfect and the holiday superb. Hazilla itself is a beautiful villa with plenty of room. Its fashioned in a traditional Spanish style, yet with modern amenities – all of which work and are well maintained. Javier is always nearby, just a quick phone call, if ever there is a slightest issue anyhow. Its gardens are wonderful surrounding a brilliant large pool that commands stunning views down to the ‘bay’ of Nerja one way and the mountains the other. Any of this owner’s villas could be recommended but this place just felt like a home from home. Except with a real Spain feel about it. Just for reference I should add some details, especially if you are travelling with a family: parking is on site and easy for unloading, packing up again. There is a steep hill, sloping down towards the villa, never a problem (even with four suitcases in the car) but if you don’t have a small 4 x 4 or automatic, you will need good clutch control! There is supermarket shopping nearby and a lovely built-in brick BBQ (once our son was in bed, my wife and I had some lovely evenings looking out from the dining area). Its about 40 mins drive from Malaga airport, easy to find and Javier will always ‘guide you in’ in any case! The pool is great, very kid friendly as is the whole villa (although there are a few small steps – 3 or 4 at a time – inside and out). Oh, and when you arrive late at night, or any time for that matter, how brilliant that there should be a little welcome basket of beer, bread, jams, coffee etc – until you get to the supermarket the next morning. I really didn’t want to write such a praising review on here, I wanted to keep the place our little secret. But its the least I owe Javier and his wife for making our last 4 holidays things to remember – this one especially!

DooBuu Harderwijk Geweldig ruim huis waar je je meteen thuis voelt! Left on Aug 31, 2013 for a stay in Jul 2013 Ons verblijf van twee weken in dit mooie, goed verzorgde vakantiehuis was te kort! Volgende keer gaan we drie weken. We werden zeer hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaresse, die prima engels spreekt. Er was gezorgd voor de eerste boodschappen, wat heel geweldig was. Als je ‘s avonds laat aankomt na een dag reizen, heb je wel zin in een glaasje wijn en dat was er dus! Heerlijk! Het zwembad is geweldig ruim en de tuin groot en prachtig! Er was (water)speelgoed aanwezig voor de kinderen, die zich de hele dag in het zwembad vermaakten. ‘s Avonds gingen we uit eten in Nerja of Frigiliana, beide op zo’n 10 minuten rijden met de auto. Een bijzonder knus barretje, waar je lekkere tapas kan eten, op 3 autominuten afstand, doorgaande weg richting Frigiliana. Vanuit de tuin heb je prachtige vergezichten op Frigiliana aan de ene kant en op Nerja en de zee aan de andere kant. Beste Rosario en Javier, wellicht tot een volgende keer!!
