On the edge of this stunning village ‘Arcos De La Almona’ has every amenity you could possibly want. The plunge pool on the terrace was very welcome on the hot July days and the owners Javier and Rosario were there when you needed them but invisible when you didn’t. I can’t recommend this property highly enough Thank you Javier and Rosario, you truly are wonderful people. See you in June 2013

Javier and Rosario make you feel most welcome without be intruding. Their attention to detail and the lovely touches they add make the stay even more memorable. The house was perfect for us; this was our third stay in Frigiliana and of both previous occasions we had promised ourselves that we would stay in town next time. Well this place fits the bill perfectly; will definitely use again. Javier and Rosario thank you for a wonderful stay.

Everything was as usual spotless when we arrived with a lovely warm welcome from Javier and Rosario. Staying for 2 weeks you really begin to live with the pace of this beautifull village and each morning you wake up with the sounds of the village and animals in the hills. Frigiliana looked even cleaner this year with a lot of effort put in by everyone in the village. The feast of Saint Anthony was celebrated on our first week and it was lovely to watch the procession from the church down to the river bed. We will be coming back next year once again to Arcos de la Almona and we would highly recommend this property alongside any of Javier and Rosarios other properties in the area.

We really like staying here and when this is added to the unobtrusive friendliness and service from the owners, choosing this property is what is known as a no-brainer. The only possible downside to Arcos is that it is located on a hill, in fact the whole of Frigiliana is, so if you have problems walking up hills then this particular property may not be for you. But there is always the car :o)

Jane D Unique little apartment idea for 2 people, lovely views from superb terrace. Left on May 29, 2012 for a stay in Nov 2010 We stayed in this lovely apartment for a long weekend (4 days). It was a perfect break in November, the sun shone every day. We had breakfast on the terrace overlooking the mountains. The accommodation is excellent and the location ideal for walking through the old town, didn’t need a car. We enjoyed seeing our friends, the owners Rosario, Javier and their children as always We would love to stay at Los Arcos again and would recommend it to our friends & family. We have also stayed at Hazilla de Raya and El Torin which are also beautiful places to stay in.
